Suppose you wanted to meet the girl of your dreams. So you type in the search query "Dream Girl." What do you get? About a million listings of websites with he word "dream girl" in it. That's like typing in Britney Spears or Paris Hilton and getting 6 to 7 million listings. Fat chance meeting Paris Hilton that way, right? Suppose you went on a site like myspace.com. It is theoretically possible to get to know Paris Hilton since she has a profile on myspace. But then what's going through your mind are all these TV news stories of meeting the wrong kinds of people on line, like 14 year girls and such. So you join an adult dating site. A lot of them are free, but the chances are you will find more dogs than at a local kennel, so that might not work so well. I remember when I first got my computer, I used to spend hours at night on AOL chatlines. I used to have different kinds of women from all over the USA send me various pictures and asking for a chat. Ahh yes, those days are gone but then so are the $160 phone bills and expensive ISP monthly statements. These days, there are skype phones and video and audio chatlines. With just a microphone and a webcam, it is possible to actually see and talk to people from all over the world, totally free. On sites like camfrog.com and paltalk.com, many people spend hours and days on it literally as it can become very addictive. So next time you're bored on the internet, try typing in your own name in the search query and see what you come up with, and you may be surprised. You will find that more often than not, you will see some evidence of your online presence in the form of websites with your name on it.
